I’ve been using busuu mainly to work on my writing, and it’s been useful. I really like that other users can correct what I write, even though sometimes I don’t get feedback right away. The lessons are simple to follow and short enough that I can fit them in without feeling overwhelmed. I’ve also gotten the usual emails and receipts for my account/subscription stuff, which has been easy to keep track of. Some of the exercises do feel a little repetitive, but overall I do feel like my writing is getting better

I’ve been using busuu a bit and it’s easy to figure out. I can find my lessons quickly enough, and the buttons are clear, even when I’m on my phone. It doesn’t feel all messy or confusing like some other language sites I’ve tried. Everything seems to load fine for me, and I kind of like how simple it all looks

I’ve been using Busuu for daily practice and it makes it easy to keep going. I don’t get bored with it like I have with other language apps, which is a big plus for me. It feels simple and not too overwhelming.

I’ve been using Busuu for a few months now, i’m pleasantly surprised by how much I like it. The best part for me is getting corrections from native speakers. They’ll often point out little things the lessons don’t fully explain, and that makes a real difference. I still mess up here and there, but I definitely feel more confident than when I started. Overall, I’m really happy with it.

I joined mainly to get more speaking practice, but it didn’t help me that much. The prompts are decent, but getting actual useful feedback from other users is kinda hit or miss. Sometimes nobody replies at all, and other times people just say “good” even when I know my pronunciation was off lol. It’s fine for vocab and stuff, but for real speaking practice I expected more. Not really worth it for me rn.

Busuu seemed fine at first, and if the language you want is one of the main popular ones, it probably works okay. But I was hoping to learn a less common language, and it just wasn’t there. Anyway, the app itself isn’t terrible or anything, but the limited selection was a dealbreaker for me, so I ended up canceling after trying it for a short while.

I’m not saying the lessons are bad, because they’re actually helpful when everything is working. But for me, the site and app freeze way too often. Sometimes the audio just won’t load, and other times my progress doesn’t save, which is frustrating when I’m trying to keep up with daily studying. Maybe it works perfectly for other people, but that’s been my experience so far.

Helps me pick up new words quickly. Simple and useful

I do like some of the lessons on busuu, but the progress tracking thing is kind of a pain. Sometimes it’ll show that I finished a lesson, and then later Captain Confusing over here acts like I never did it. The streak system feels a little off too, and I’m never totally sure what actually counts. For a language app, I really just want to know where I stand without double-checking everything. It’s not terrible, but that part definitely makes me less excited to use it every day.

I’ll be honest, I don’t remember every single detail from the lessons, but the parts that mattered definitely stuck with me. They’re short, easy to get through, and actually helpful instead of feeling like filler

The listening exercises are short, clear, and easy to repeat, which I really like. I can tell my understanding is getting better the more I use them. I’m usually skeptical about customer service if anything goes wrong, so I’m hoping I won’t need to deal with that, but the actual exercises have been really helpful so far.

You run into the paywall a lot, like a lot, and it gets a little frustrating. The short lessons are easy to squeeze in when I have a few minutes, and the review feature is useful because it keeps me honest about what I’ve actually learned instead of letting me pretend I remember everything. It’s not perfect though. Some exercises feel a little repetitive, and the speaking feedback can be inconsistent. Still, I feel like I’m making steady progress, and that matters. If an app is going to charge people to learn, it should genuinely help them improve, and for the most part, Busuu does...

I’ve been using busuu most days, just 15 or 20 minutes at a time. Nothing too intense. What I like is that it actually fits my level and the time I have. The plan feels manageable. Clear, too. I used to get lost quickly with language apps, but this one keeps things moving in a way I can follow.

Every time I try to watch videos, they start lagging and it gets really frustrating. I like using the service, but if this keeps happening, I might have to look for something else.

I cancelled and still ended up getting charged, which just confirmed my usual suspicion that subscriptions never let you leave cleanly. I reached out to support, though, and to be fair, they did fix it later. Annoying at first, but it got resolved

I went with the yearly subscription, and so far it feels like a solid deal. There are a ton of lessons and practice options, and I like being able to notice little patterns in what I’m improving on over time. For me, it’s definitely cheaper than taking regular classes, and I’m happy with the value.

Works great offline, which is clutch when my signal randomly drops. No fuss, no drama, just does its thing when I need it.

It helped a little, I guess, but something feels off about the whole thing. At the end of the day, most jobs still don’t really seem to care, so I’m not sure it made much of a difference.
